The GHIN Handicap Service
The Golf Handicap and Information Network - GHIN has now become the world's largest handicap computation service. GHIN is provided through 62 State, Regional or National Golf Associations to over 10,000 clubs and approximately 1.9 million golfers. GHIN is maintained by the United States Golf Association® and the staff is composed of USGA employees. Any USGA Handicap Index® issued through a Golf Association by a golf club is designed to allow golfers of differing abilities to compete on an equitable basis and thereby increasing the enjoyment they derive from a round of golf. A Handicap Index is revised throughout the golf season and is based on golfers' scores, as well as the relative difficulty of the courses on which their rounds are played. The USGA GHIN Handicap Service is available at Byrncliff. Establish (or renew) your official USGA handicap for $20.00 for the 2010 golf season. The Byrncliff Handicap and Discount Club
The BHAND is a golfer loyalty club created by Byrncliff. It rewards frequent players by discounting greens fees every time they golf at Byrncliff. If you are a frequent player at Byrncliff, then this is the club for you!
BHAND Members receive:
- $3.00 off of weekday or weekend standard greens fee every time you play golf at Byrncliff
- Registration in official GHIN handicap program
- Official GHIN Handicap card, updated as needed
- Immediate calculation of handicap when home (at Byrncliff) or away (other golf courses) scores are entered in the computer
- 10% discount on pro-shop merchandise (excluding sale items)
- Membership fee - $49.00 for the 2011 golf season
BHAND VIP Members receive:
- $4.00 off of weekday or weekend standard greens fee every time you play golf at Byrncliff
- A Byrncliff logo golf shirt
- Registration in official GHIN handicap program
- Official GHIN Handicap card, updated as needed
- Immediate calculation of handicap when home (at Byrncliff) or away (other golf courses) scores are entered in the computer
