Byrncliff Resort & Conference Center is a four-season resort specializing in golf, dining, skiing and accommodations. Byrncliff is seeking dependable, personable people with positive attitudes and some hospitality experience. Candidates must be able to work nights, weekends and some holidays. Positions available are hourly and non-supervisory. Part-time to full-time work available.

Byrncliff is always accepting applications and resumes as jobs may open at any time.

Positions

Guest Service Agent: Primarily responsible for receiving incoming calls, making reservations, and handling customer inquiries. Basic computer skills, excellent communication skills, and professional business dress required. Must be outgoing, detail-orientated, neat, and able to multi-task.

Line Cook: Primarily responsible for preparing food for the a la cart restaurant and banquet facility to Byrncliff standards. Must be able to use basic kitchen equipment and maintain kitchen sanitation to Board of Health standards.

Restaurant Server: Primarily responsible for serving food and beverage to guests according to Byrncliff guest service standards. Must be personable, able to multi-task and maintain restaurant sanitation to Board of Health standards.

Housekeeping Attendant: Responsible for cleaning hotel rooms, dining and banquet facilities and restrooms according to Byrncliff standards. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, cleaning, vacuuming, dusting, mopping, making beds and doing laundry. Housekeeping attendants must be detail-oriented, organized, be able to lift over ten pounds, and be able to handle household chemicals and solutions properly.

Bartender: Primarily responsible for mixing and serving beverages to guests according to Byrncliff guest service standards. Must be personable, able to multi-task and maintain restaurant sanitation to Board of Health standards.

Marketing/Office Assistant: Responsible for answering phones, greeting and providing general information to visitors, and performing a variety of routine office duties. Assists the Director of Sales and Marketing with managing social media, production of marketing materials, website management, advertising, and email marketing. Must be dependable, self-motivated and able to work in a fast-paced environment



Summer Employment

Lifeguard: Ensures the safety of the guests of the outdoor pool and mini-golf recreation area by preventing and responding to emergencies. Lifeguards are also responsible for the operation of the snack-bar while maintaining a clean, safe environment. Must have lifeguard, first aid and CPR certifications.
